Henry's three great loves

There are three things that Henry especially loves:

 1. His blanket. It is a special comfort and joy to him, as it is with all children who have a blanky.  It is always recommended to have an exact same blanket as a back up, should the first be lost, destroyed or loved so hard that there is nothing left of it. (That's Kate's story, but we can cover that at another time.)  Fortunately, all four of the kids were given the exact same blanket (in differing colors) at their birth from one of Jeff's aunts.  The others did not attach to that blanket, so Henry has four blankets to use.  It cuts down on the stress of finding a blanket at the last minute.

2.  His shoes.  He has a very special bond with his shoes--no pair in particular, anything that fits his feet.  Even shoes that don't fit his feet.  (I've seen him try to clunk down the hallway with my three inch heals on.)  He will wear shoes all the time, if permitted.  He enjoys them with pajamas, with the hope of wearing them to bed.  He has even tried to wear them into the bathtub.

3.  Balls.  He plays with balls all day, and I'm pretty sure he dreams about balls all night.  He's enjoying soccer balls the most right now--probably because he can swipe them from the players out on the field while we watch Joost and Gracie's indoor soccer games.
