It's game time and even Henry would like to play.

40 weeks old

Henry is 40 weeks old and enjoying play time with his cousin, Owen. (Yes, baby penitentiary is set up around them.  Although, its purpose is to keep the bad (tiny, chokable) things out, rather than to keep the tiny people in.)

Mom's birthday

On Wednesday, Mom turned 60 years old.  Today we were able to have a party with all the family to celebrate her life.  She is a wonderful, loving and godly woman and I feel exceedingly blessed to have her as a mother and friend.

Andrew and I thought it would be fun to look back on her life and share some of the pictures from it.  We made a dvd presentation to show everyone at the party.  There were far too many pictures on it to show here, but I thought a few of them might be worth posting.

39 weeks old

Today, on Mom's 60th birthday (more about that will come), Henry is 39 weeks old and doing well.

Kate's birthday cake

I am not a baker.  I don't mind making meals, but baking cakes, pies and other treats is not my joy in life.  I admire those who do love making sweets for others, but that just isn't how God wired the creative side of my brain. 

BUT, on my children's birthdays, I feel I should put a little extra effort into their cakes. A true gift of love. Kate is in her princess enjoyment stage of life and so I made her a princess cake for her birthday party with all the family.

Today Kate turns three years old.  What a wonderful addition she has been to our family.  God was kind to bless us with her.  Here's a quick view of her three years....

It's been a busy last few weeks and I haven't posted Henry's weekly pictures, but he's continued to grow and mature in spite of it. Today, he helped Gracie and me make cupcakes for Kate's birthday.

Today we had a delightful brunch with some of my dear girlfriends--Lauren, Amanda and Marina and their families.  It was a lovely way to start off the new year.
