Zoo America

I had the joy of chaperoning Gracie's field trip today.  It's such fun to be with kindergartners at the zoo!  ZooAmerica (in Hershey) is a great zoo, too.  It's so 'do-able'.  It just enough animal time without feeling overwhelmed to complete the whole tour.  Here are some fun pictures from our afternoon....

The Boxcar Children

Have you read The Boxcar Children with your kids?  It's a great book.  We read it last summer and then Joost's class covered it again this year.  They also put on a production of it today.  Joost played Dr. Moore in one of the scenes.  Unfortunately, none of the pictures I took show him in his medical jacket with the stethoscope around his neck.  He did an excellent job with his role.

One more try. I took a shot of Joost, Grace and Kate when Katie was a baby and I loved it. It's framed and hanging in the hallway. So, I thought I'd take a similar one with Henry. Easier said than done. Four kids looking at the camera and smiling all at once is not accomplished easily.
