Gracie's 8th birthday

Grace has turned 8 years old! It's hard to believe.

We celebrated as a family.

And she enjoyed having some of her girlfriends over for her birthday. It included all the usual...pizza, craft, movie, 4 hours of sleep, and breakfast in the morning.

We are so grateful for Grace. She is a joyful and generous daughter, sister, and friend. We continue to pray for God's great blessing on her as she continues to grow and mature physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We love you, Grace!!!

First day of school 2013

 Today is the first day of school.  Joost is entering 4th grade and Grace 2nd at Covenant Christian Academy.

(Henry was up nice and early to join in the first day of school farewells.

Kate is starting preschool on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings.  She is very excited--not a bit of apprehension about it.
